Introducing Floating Rock

Welcome to my first ever blog, I am Abby! I have been very excited to set this blog up and to begin my travel blogs with a side of political posts thrown in there. I am an International Relations student and aspiring journalist. The idea behind the name of my blog 'Floating Rock' is essentially the idea that we are all just living on this earth (floating rock) in the middle of space so why should we worry. This mentality has helped lessen my anxiety and just enjoy life while I am here.

Throughout my life so far I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to travel this floating rock and I would love to share my experiences with you and pass along some tips! My upcoming blogs will consist of my future travels (my next trip is in two weeks, yay). When I go on a trip I will aim to give you all my recommendations for that place such as food, drinks, shops, non touristy cool spots, touristy spots (that are worth it), the culture and any other necessary information.
